Well, I'm currently on my first patrol out of Cavite with good ol' S-28, bagged a total of three merchants thus far and I am now out of torpedoes. Now, since starting my patrol about three weeks ago the Japanese have taken Manilla, so where exactly am I supposed to dock now? I've tried sailing to that port in the Dutch east indies (with the anchor), but all I can do is refit or postpone. And from what I can tell there's no longer an 'exit' and 'end patrol' option.

Any help on a possible course of action would be greatly appreciated. The tired crew of S-28 is felling rather abandened about now. Is a nice comfortable port too much to ask for?

my base was lost during a mission ( patch 1.1) and i ended my patrol at a base south east of singapore.
so are you running the patch ? and have you tried reffiting and heading to midway, wich i think is the nearest USN base to the dutch port?

When Manila is overrun, I usually get commandeered to Soerabaya on Java. Try looking in that direction for the 'blue anchor'. But be aware that you might find yourself in a similar situation there, too ;) If Soerabaya is overrun, I think Brisbane or Fremantle in Australia it is...

I left the base on Java (Soerbaja) around Feb 1942. The Japanese have since taken it over and I tried sailing to BOTH Brisbane and Fremantle after my patrol... and nothing... all i can do is "refit"... NOT end patrol! WHERE DO I GO TO END?? I've been sailing around for almost 2 months and have refitted twice.

I Should mention I am commanding the S-18 class submarine U.S.S. S-18... I doubt I could even make it to Midway or Pearl. Not to mention that for some reason... after I go about 250-400 miles, my speed goes to 0 and stays there for a while and i have to keep hitting the telegraph and listening to my officer say "cannot comply". I assume this is some sort of bug? Anyone else have this?

The crew is too tired. I had this effect after loading a saved game.
Transfer some crew members to the active watch and engines start
running.

Thanks! I will definitely try that! Now... any idea where I go to END my patrol? Fremantle and Brisbane haven't worked and Cavite, Manila and Seurobaja (Java) is under enemy control.

Hmm, can't help you there, sorry... I had Soerabaja taken by the Japanese while I was IN PORT, so I started in Soerabaja which was a Japanese base in my third patrol, then I rebased to Fremantle and it let me end the patrol there. Have you tried docking at Soerabaya (even though it is in enemt hands)? You never know what bugs there may be...
