I noticed, in the Campaign mission folder, that there is a mission for the Pearl Harbor Attack. I wonder if this was meant to be included but was discarded. Could it be finished and included as a single mission?

couldnt the ommision of all things pearl be down to political sensitivities ?
im guessing you dont see the A-bomb pop over japan
and a pearl attack would require a jap sub. wich isnt modelled as far as i know.
i know it sounds daft worrying about pearl in a killing simulation, but then you didnt fly over any concentration camps in il2 either.
and look at the manual for german ships. something missing in that flag. i didnt actually know what the hell it was at first.
maybe the devs were going to make something along those lines and the publisher said no.
maybe it was just a dropped feature. i guess theyre the only ons that can tell us though

Firstly you assume it's from the Japanese perspective, secondly if EA - the opiate of the masses - is happy to model the attack in Pacific Assault then I doubt anyone really cares.
But really, who knows.

Midget Subs can be placed into custom missions in the mission editor.
