I look in the manual page 28 and it states "You may reset the TDC and data by pressing the X icon on the notepad." I hope it's obvious, but what X on what notepad? I want to do a point and shoot (since TDC is bugged). Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

a left over in the manual from SH3 where you could reset the TDC.

Cant remember if it works but anyway. Set speed to 0 kts and then point the periscope at the bearing you want for gyro angle and do a quick AoB estimate for the bearing, i think that way the TDC will ajust to your new bearing with 0 speed.

We definitely need a way to reset it to "fire on this bearing" easily.

If you set target speed to zero and send this data to the tdc, it will fire at the bearing your scope is looking towards, and nothing else matters (neither range nor AOB).

Good point, thanks. I took my thinker off after work. :()1:

Sorry guys, that does not work in manual TDC . No mater where I point the periscope or TBD, Torps only shoot straight out of the tubes (if no previous solutions entered). If there is an old solution on the TDC, it shoots that way. Even if I set and enter the speed to zero. I cannot create an optics point and shoot. It would be handy for quick estimations. Any other ideas would be great.

I got it to "point-and-shoot" by settings speed to zero, and doing a quick Ranging with the stadimeter. I didn't touch the AoB. Just remember to fire right away.
