That link could get you banned from SS Apollo. I'd remove it if I were you. :yep:

Everyone was lucky to get one from Ubi for SH4, but I doubt very much you will ever see one for SHIII. Keep dreaming cause that's all you'll get. It's been asked for many times before by those with more pull than any of members here. And that's a fact.

Yes absolutely,

get rid of starforce.

I have a legit version of Silent Hunter 3, as I had of Silent Hunter 2. Starforce is a big pain in the butt, and so is Vista.

........edit: probably legal where you live, mate, but illegal to even mention on subsim...

........You said it yourself; it's illegal. According to forum rules, mentioning of such items here on Subsim is not allowed.... A yes or no is all you need to answer; this thread isn't a discussion about the legal aspects and so on...

Gentlemen,

after exchanging a PM with Franck Kulick, who opened this thread long ago, we have agreeded that it has served its purpose already and can be closed definitively.

We hope this might indeed have some effect on UBI, now that rumours of some budget versions of SH3 without Starforce and the dropping of that protection system in SH4 and other modern UBI games seem to confirm a tendency.
