Automatic reduction of t/c for events?

I know I saw some comments yesterday or the day before about whether or not there's an option setting for time compression to automatically reduce when certain events happen (e.g. reduce to 1x when aircraft sighted), same as you can do in SH3 via SH3Cmdr. Darned if I can find them though, there's so much stuff being posted so quickly.

Can somebody point me to that thread or otherwise tell me if there's such an option ... if there is I'm not seeing it.

I'm at work but I know one of the config files in the My Docs folder has the option to manually change what TC it changes to when various stuff is spotted.

For instance, default TC is 8x when a ship is spotted. I normally change it to 1x.

Simply edit the main.cfg file in the \my documents\SH4\data\cfg folder. NOT the SH4 folder in \program files!
