Cant believe it. A week and a half into my first patrol I get a report of a convoy near my position so I head over there. Its off Honshu, pitch black and the seas are rough. I cant get position on my initial approach so I surface and try an end around while dodging air patrols from the east. Find the convoys escorts and submerge, losing radar contact. I can barely make out the escorts and well, with the weather and dark I lost the convoy. Say what you will but its a lot harder to see at night in Sh4 than 3. I feel like a noob.
