...
Iomega Zip Drive (1998)
...

I used to want one of these, but never did buy one.:hmm: Now they're pretty much obsolete anyway. Of course, I even still have 5.25" and 3.5" floppies so maybe if I see a cheap Zip drive and disks at a used computer store somewhere I can add to my little collection of obsolete drives...

I had Microsoft Windows Millennium OS and never had any problem with it.

That was the worst OS ever - it was WIndows SE with all your control stripped out of it. Of course, if you never dug into the core system, you may not have noticed.

Besides - it crashed every day!

The VIC 20 should probably not be on the list. It paved the way to the C64. Besides, I played a game or two on the VIC.

One thing I don't see on the list are some of the crappy Tandy computers that came out here and there. MC-10 for example - I still have one some where. The TI/99 is a better system if you have to ask!

Thats my point. The system never crashed on me and I'm not the type to go into the core of the OS. It worked well for me.

Ahhh Acorn. The friendliest critical stop jingle ever conceived.

Come on! Admit it! The only reason you will never be the same since is because 'all' your friends let you know how big an idiot you were for buying a POS! :D

I don't usually jump into the fray, but I have to clear up the popular misconceptions regarding the Mattel Barbie PC. The system was perfectly adapted for what it was all about: Shopping for shoes, flirting with Ken, and repainting the Barbie convertible. Furthermore, Mattel released it's non-electric shock patch for Window errors two years after release, so if you fried yourself after that point, it is your fault. Frankly, if you have a better way to manage Barbie's multi-faceted career, I like to see it.

'Nuff said.

Yeah, I don't even read my PC world e-mails anymore. They just keep sending, and get deleted, unless it's one of their lists.
