Efficiency

Did anyone understand what it means when a crewmember is grayed out?
I payed 2500 renown for a good officer but he is greyed out when I place him. I can see his efficiency is quite low - is that the reason?

Is it possible to increase the efficiency in any way?

I think they gain experience and get 'better'. Also, promotions & medals should boost it up. :up:

Ok! great, but anyone knows why they sometimes ar greyed out? :sunny:

He's off duty - as the rest of his watch. Watches rotate every 4 hours. Or you can call for battle stations but no one will be resting anymore - untill they fall asleep that is.
