I don't see a patch on the Ubi site... Downloading this now, though, and will try it before I write my review of the game. In spite of the bugs I've been playing it for two whole nights now, unable to stop, so it's definitely not all bad :-).

Is that the German patch that changes the English voices to German voices? I hope not, it's bad enough to be called "Herr Kaleun" instead of "Sir" in the English version!:nope:

Haben sie einen Grund angegeben? Basteln sie vllt. noch an neuen Sachen die sie in den Patch 1.1 reinpacken wollen (frage nur damit ich jetzt den Patch nicht umsonst runterlade).;)

This did seem pretty suspicious beacuse A group were releaseing a patch before the actual game makers released it on their website, Still 116mb i heard somebody say, That's below size If i remember, It's supposed to be about 160mb?

Tsh, put away that tinfoil hat :) the patch is legal its legti and its nice. They got it from Ubi to help distribute it. They probably didn't read the fine print that said not to release the link too early.

I dl'ed it before the link was down and the patch is just fine. Now we just have to wait for Ubi to green light and everyone can get it.

PS it breaks your in-patrol saves, but you can continue career from port.

Something strange is happening. I believe that Neal not releasing a review, another delay in the delivery of the game and now this on again/off again business with the Patch are all linked. I think Neal is waiting 'til his game is Patched before he does his review. Some will say that's cheating, but since the Patch was released before the game (for most of us), I got no problem with that.

116 MB is the english version and 160 MB is the german version.

So I had a phone call with Ubisoft. We are allowed to release the patch at 6.00 pm, european time. In 3:30 hours the download links will be available again.

rofl, the lack of competence in release patches is unbelievable :)

But do not worry, there are companies were much worse things happen than getting these files mixed up.

Anyone remembres AvP2 source code that was available for a while by Sierra? It is a shame they removed it again :(((((((

Companies never realise this. Once something is out you cannot put it back in....just release early and admit the mistake.

I just downloaded the patch from that UBI FTP and I can confirm is english patch! :rock:
116 MB... other file seems to add german voices (will donīt use that hehe)

That sounds like Logic your using, when refering to the actions of a company its best to stear clear of such things ;)

I have a serious problem with the patch. I think the metric/imperial system is porked. Every time i click on the depth dial game crashes and it doesn't matter if i chose metric or imperial. Crashes on both. Can anyone else confirm please?
Oh btw, this is when starting a new career. No old savegames in use :)

I'm being told someone jumped the gun and posted links to a patch before they were given permission. I suggest holding fast and waiting for the official Ubi announcement.

A clean install fixed it, god knows why...but it works like a charm now so the patch is good :)
