EBGames issue

well went to my local eb games store and they said its released but their shipment hasnt come in yet:shifty: , which is a lie because they most of the time release new games on wednesdays if it monday or tuesday of the release date, i called a few more stores and they said it will be released thursday/ friday so more waiting for me:nope::nope::shifty::shifty::shifty:

I went back up to Fry's and they said noon tomorrow. Tomorrow, I am going to hit two Target stores, no make that three Targets, Bestbuy, CompUSA(maybe) all within driving distant from where I go to school.:D

Pretty sad, I betcha Wal-Mart will even have it tomorrow. I'm convinced that EB has it in the back, but they refuse to shelve it!

pccanada rules, same with canadacomputers.com, NCIX.com is super good for canadian online comp parts, cheap and good service, tigerdirect is ok but they r known to screw up shipments and u wait extra week or 2:up:

I guess I just got a bunch of idiots on the phone today. I called around the North Metro Atlanta area to a couple of Best Buys, a couple of EBGames, a Circuit City and a Walmart and all but Walmart said they didn't have any SH4 on order to come in at all...:doh:

That's been my experience too. I just checked with my local EB store and mine is the only copy their getting in. Yes, you read correctly...the ONLY copy...none for the shelves. Now, I just have to suffer through work tomorrow afternoon till 5pm, then go get it.

Sadly, both EB Games and GameStop are backing off PC games
in favor of the console stuff but they will handle some of the
monsters and magic garbage...

dont even bother with FRY's. I work for frys here in las vegas as a salesman in the motherboards area. they never get game shipments on time. especially for the pc market! NEVER.

even xbox games are a bit delayed at my work, it takes an extra 2 or 3 days. pc games about a week.

your best bet would be bestbuy, a target possibly. i picked mine up at target earlier, the game is awesome! I would be playing but i have some stuff i need to do on my site. intial impressions though are good.

try a couple of targets or best buys, if its not on the shelf, ask a manager to go check back stock. maybe a truck will come in

The Fry's that I go to is 1 mile from my house. The software sales guy said noon time they should get a truck in. Oh and BTW, this store does get busy. But I will go to the other stores first to see if the game is in.

Called my local "GameTraders" here in south OZ, and they told me......"Silent Hunter 4? Oh yeah, that was released last week, er....., I mean our copies came in last week. You can get it on Friday."
