View Full Version : Your Dream
Elite_hunter_sh3, inspired me with his H1 thread, in His thread I wrote that my dream would be to own a Hummer H1, after I wrote that post I thought that I must have better material needs than a simple Hummer H1. Quickly I reached the conclusion that I would like to have a vessel that travels on water, not on land.
This is my dream, it's not to much and it's not to little.

Now, my queastion to You is, what material object do you dream about?
Keep the dreams resonable! ;)

Nice, but what a nightmare! My father has a 1941 100' tug - ex US military. That is a never ending project I tell you - and this would be the same.
For boats like this, there is a set of words for them - A never ending black hole in the water for which you dump money into.
Don't say I didn't warn yo

You'd be throwing your money away.
Old saying and I'm sure you have heard it:
'If you want to make a small fortune in aviation...........start with a large fortune'.
The pic shows a vey clean airplane. That won't last.

Yeah, but I have half a bottle sitting on my bookcase right now. the Jaguar, on the other hand . Played one at Christmas, a friend owns a guitar shop. I had it plugged in for an hour, f*cking beautiful sound. Wish I had the budget.
ASW, after a few lessons in a 172, I wanted to marry one :D

As a pilot who is no millionaire, one thing it isnt, is throwing your money away if you love/want to fly. Thats, um, crap.

What an RC P-51? That is not a full size version since it only has a 2 bladed prop.
-S
I've just always loved it.
Yes, because you can land anywhere, and for the big radials, and for the cargo room, and for the sliding front windows, for Frank Bama, and for the sounds she makes, and for the fishing opportunities, I can fit my surf board in it, the range, the adventure...im just a hopeless romantic when it comes to my airplanes...:know:

I did wonder about the angle it was photographed, but I didn't spot the prop-well done! I reckon it must be radio controlled

Yep, look at the gravel at the very foreground (bottom) of the picture. I wouldn't want to be taking-off in an airplane with that kind of runway!

I can only handle only about 5 minutes of Kraftworks before I'm up and doing something else! The music is just, hmm, how do you describe it? Cool for the 80's maybe since synth's like that were just invented? Actually - its the Speak and Spell they are using that is the high tech gizmoe I think! :D

If I have money to throw away, my dream things would be:
A BTR80 type vehicle; it can travel on land and water. And look is just so menacing.
Yak52, but more modern version of it; I can take friends up and make them throw up all over place :D
Ferrari...If I have to kill my self in style and If Yak is not going to do it, this sure will.
A uber sniper rifle. Barret will do just fine. I enjoyed shooting it while serving my time.

My dream? A magical time machine. Keepin my knowledge and experience from today, but getting back the feel of life I had in the 80s, getting to know a certain girl I knew from TV only but anonymously still admire and deeply respect today while she now is a woman, and not needing to see a certain other girl being taken away from my side.
Another time, another place. Both felt better back then.

That is very noble, Skybird. I must to confess that I would probably use such a device to mercilessly conquer... the world
