The Mother of All Super Bonus Mods

With the up coming release of SH4, do you think Uncle Neal will come out with a new DVD with all the SH3 Mods?
I for one would like to have one later on, and for a substantial donation to SubSim. That way when I pick up a new computer and install Sh3 I wouldn't have to find all the downloads. What do think Neal?

Just go here http://www.u-boot.realsimulation.com/ and start downloading. There's no way all the mods could ever fit on one disc; some of them are almost that big by themselves.

Plus the fact we are currently testing GWX v1.03 prior to it's release and without giving anything away, there may be more updates planned. So as you can see, there might never be a time (certainly not in the near future) where it can be said SH3 is 'complete' and 'finished'.
In fact, there are many people out there who have no interest in SH4 and therefore IMHO SH3 still has plenty of life in her.:yep:
For the record, I have pre-ordered a copy of SH4 from the SS link. :D :arrgh!:

I agree fully. The games will be enough different that I plan on playing both.
I have also proordered SHIV.
Because of the complexity of the game, there will be bugs in SHIV. Pre- testing with a few dozen people will not be able to discover them. Playing the game with several thousand will.
Until I started testing the GWX series I had o idea how difficult it is.

I made a dvd with WAC 2.0 on it and sure there was some room left but what supermod around here doesn't get updated all the while. You probably couldn't fit WAC NYGM GWX JSGME & Commander on a dual layer dvd anyhow.

Not exactly news dial-up users want to hear. :dead:

But I would think most of us are happy with reliable d/l servers. Sadly I have gotten interupted, or even incomplete files from u-boatrealsimulation.

I'm the same Dan i got a pile of stuff from there as well and only about 80% of the stuff worked or was there. I tend to get my stuff direct from subsim or from the mod forum itself that way you can ask any questions before hand:up:
