I think you'll find that the on deck ship crews react by trying to hide and sometimes manning lifeboats.

Really? That would be cool! I thought I had read somewhere that they didn't change their behavior and just kept walking around as if nothing was happening. What you describe sounds much better of course TDK1044. :)
