i live in the U.S but recently saw a foreign film on tv with subtitles and i dont know what it was called, the plot seemed as if it was german soldiers fighting the russians and they fought and moved mostly riding bicycles. its a color film and seems to be made atleast from the 1980s onward. I know this is vague but if anyone has any idea what im talking about please fill me in thanks

Are you sure it wasn't Finnish soldiers fighting against Russians? There's a movie called Rukajärven Tie, which has a small bicycle platoon of Finns moving through Russian held ground. In the US, the film is known as Ambush.
