This is a first hand account of a US Army torturer describing his grisly work in Iraq. I can definitely imagine how things are even far worse than what he describes, especially in the gulags where prisoners have been "disappeared".

I used to describe the United States as a great nation. The more I hear of these kinds of stories, (the Abu Garahibs, the Guantanamo bays, the suspension of habeas corpus), the more I rank it with the other countries with despicable human rights records such as China.
