So, there I was - sitting in Scapa Flow waiting for the fog to lift so I could go about sinking the BBs that intel told me were there.
I've never been to Scapa Flow, before or after GWX, so I didn't know what to expect, but I assumed mines and heavy patrols.
Aaaanyway...
about 8hours into my wait I get blindsided by a Destroyer. I had no audio, as he was to my 180' and he couldn't hear me as I wasn't moving, but even if I had been he'd have been in HIS blind spot - exactly 0'

So what are the chances of that!? How wide is a DD and how wide is a UBoat ?
The force of the impact threw my boat to the deck (I had all of 2meters clearance at PD) at an impressive velocity, it also threw the DD BACKWARDs and caused him to immediatly sink (his DC racks went under and he couldn't recover from flooding)
So I tried to sneak away, but the DD was listening (he wasn't sunk propper) sure enough his mate turns up, DCs me but misses (amazingly) so I sink him out of frustration more than anything, then surface and speed away - thankful for the weather - and straight into a sub net, which I'd some how avoided on my enterance. Reversed and jumped the net with minor damage to Stern Torps and Aft Batteries and hurrah, I escaped  24% Hull integrity, but sod it - I'm running home
