U-Boat destroyed by collision???

I just got, "destroyed" by collision just now. I was tracking submerged at 40m in AM53 when nect minute boom, I get that. When it shows the boat, there is nothing in sight at all. I didn't hit the bottom, nothing could have hit me at 40m. So... What the hell?!

So I'm realoading that. Normally I do the whole when Im dead I is dead thing... but this was just horse manure. So I aint standing for that!

How shallow was the water there? If it was deep, it might not have been a mine.
