What was the IJN's Longest Torpedo Hit from a sub in WW2
does anybody know?
and If so do you know where I can locate an account of it.
MM
well i know that the i-19 shot a salvo of 6 tubes that sunk the Wasp a DD and damaged the north carolina i believe. the sub shot at the Wasp but 3 torps missed and kept on going till they got to the other TF about 5 miles or more away and hit the DD and the north carolina.
see more here http://www.combinedfleet.com/I-19.htm
