My CPU somehow automatically changed the time, with no upgrade thing from microsoft...
Other than that, it feels funny seeing the sun at 6:34pm over here.:yep:

Same here, I was somewhat surprised.

I still have power. That is a bonus. I suspected a hiccup or two on this switchout.
Now lets contiplate something here (Since I am having a few beers) - This is daylight savings time, correct? So we just came from Standard time, correct? If it is standard time, the very name standard time implies it is 'normal' time or the majority time. Yet, strangely, we have Daylight savings time now occupying almost 9 months of the year, or almost a 3 to 1 ratio. Seems I am spying another contradictory term, no?
Maybe I'll go get another beer and think about this subject some more.

My web pages at godaddy.com were down till noon and the direct tv is still on the old time, but my computer started right up with the time change intact ...
I wonder how that happened?

All fine for me except, I tried early this morning to use WinXP (Date & Time Properties) link to time-a.nist.gov, time.nist.gov and time.windows.com and either it errored out or did not change the time.
Just for fun, I just tried it and my time went back 1 hour :rotfl: .
Now, I am wonder what will happen with all the devices that I have that auto correct for DST when the regular date comes around? I had to manually change them all today since it is internal hard coding that controls my VCR/DVD, Microwave and TV time as well as my Palm Pilot. :hmm:
I did not see a problem this time but I do see a possible problem when devices made before 2007 auto-correct for DST on their own with no internet hook up to flash BIOS or anything else like ROM.

The computer was askew, but all my atomic clocks were correct. I was expecting to change everything to a different timezone to get the +1 hour, but when I woke up, everything was spot on with the clocks.
