Ok fellow Kaleuns i'm really intrested in finding out what age group SH3 is the most popular with. I would like to know also what makes it the game for you and what your fav Boat is as well.
Pardon me we did one months and months ago.

No problem send me £500 and I will vote. :shifty:
Why should politicians have all the fun. ;) :yep:
I think a 1-19 20-50 and a 51+ group would be better. As you cant really get it good in increments of 10
I play it (20) and my Dad plays it (54)
Dad's still shocked and amazed by the graphics and gets terribly involved, to the extent of panicing and hitting the wrong button- usually firing a Torp by hitting "Enter" instead of the +/-, has been known to crashdive instead of reverse, the usual

We could have a tournament 30+ vs. <30 people. Unless of course you are afraid...?;):arrgh!:
Otherwise I like the fact that there is alot of mature people on these boards- It's one of the few forums where threads dont turn in an insult pit of no return.:damn:

Well the appeal, aka walking through the computer Isle and seeing this game would likely be a higher age, If I had saw this game I probably wouldn't haven't of bought it, but my 47 year old pa who saw it and likes naval games saw it and bought it, and since it was basicly a free game I installed it, and well liked it. :p

13 years old but trapped in a 50 year old body ... well that what my wife tells me ... my dad was a submariner in from about 1949 to about 1955 , so ive always have had an interest in subs . Somehow I ended up in the USAF though , but thats another story . I'm still a newbie at SH III and can't keep away from it . I'm trying to get my dad over to my house and demo SH III for him . I know he'd flip over it . But he's hard to move now .

Thanks mate old farts unite:up:
The poll results are not surprizing to me. Actualy it's exactly what i have expected. Subsims are supposed to be a nichie. I think this is becose this genre is for the adult people. But back then this were more the younger people who were interested in computer games but this generation grows older and older but still addicted to computer games. As people grow up and get older they also get more demanding. As the average age of players is growing the market for more hardcore subsims become bigger and bigger.
This is where i see IUF can chime in in a couple of years feeding the real hardcore and demanding audiance. I see the prospects growing more and more the more time pass.
