well played.

thats exacly the way i like to do it..

land a few hits shortly before dawn and back off, rearm and hit them again just after sunset.

repeat the process for a few days and you have widdled down a sizable convoy to driftwood and frantic tramp steamers

I must say that I've NEVER done so well, and I was trying a new tactic for my Torps, suggested by Brag here (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=107277)

Anyway it seems to work

Very nice tonnage --result of well planned attacks. Like you say, whittle the convoy. I'm going to start zapping escorts to make later attacks easier.
I'm glad you allow one representative of your crew to smile--someone has to do it :D :D (oops, one too many) :rotfl: <--just one
