Random equipment breakdowns and malfunctions

I was wondering if anyone has heard if there will be random equipment breakdowns and malfunctions in SH4. I haven't heard anything about this yet. :hmm:

This is a related dev-team Q from December:

Q: EineSchaufelSand (9te Flottille): Will engine parts wear out after a while?
A: This is something that we do not wish to disclose at this stage, but overall the submarine damage workings have been enhanced.

But Dec is a long time ago so maybe some one has more current information.

yep, the new damage system is very good and WAY better than the last one in SH3, this time around it takes more than three secounds to fix somthing.:D
