I won't despute what you have gotton from EB Games, because I've gotton the same thing from them before. I called the US Ubisoft Store today to check on my preorder. I didn't get much, but what the guy told me was that he had received no notice of any changes from their warehouse as of yet which he saw that as a good sign. Of course, then he shot it down by saying these games are always subject to changes at the last moment. :nope:

I'm sad since I move on the 16th. So guess I'll forgo any pre-orders here and just buy the game when I get to Atlanta.

Still have the collector's edition on order, but knew what wouldn't get to me anytime soon. ;)

It's been official pushed back to the 20th here in the US so that it would be more "fair" and be more of a world wide release date. :roll:

Amazon.US posted this new release date over a week ago. I posted the new release date they had up, but everyone seemed to think that the new date they had up was only for people who are placing orders for the second round of shipments.

I always thought it was a bit weird that there were so many different release dates floating around. March 20th makes more sense, even though I don't really like it very well.

The post I created for the release dates was quoted from Ubisoft's Community Manager. That is the significance. At least now we have some "Official word", rather than going by what online stores are reporting (which aren't always entirely accurate). ;)

Your absolutely right Ark. It seems like online stores are getting worst about giving accurate release dates anymore. I don't know why. Several years ago they used to be fairly accurate, but anymore you never know what to beleive. That day I found the Amazon date as March 20, I also found about three other dates posted at other online stores (March 13, 17, and 23 if I remember right).

What really irkes me is when you know for a fact that the date has been changed, but the online stores still leave the old release date up.

I'm just happy a developer has gone back to the Pacific. I've waitted this long since the original SH, I will be ready to receive whenever. A couple of WestPac's teach's patience.
