i have gwx install,and im playing 100% realism,when i spot a ship i get a lock on
i try to see what kind of ship it is.i figure it out and then i click on the little square or in the box.but i dont see height of the ship in the right hand side of notepad,i see where it says notepad and speed and the rest, but i dont see the ships towers, anyone can explain me why i cannot see it.
I don't know.
Useing the notepad is a poor way to get good manual TDC results anyway.

IM USING THE TDC MANUAL THIS IS WHAT IT SAYS:Bring up your Ship Registry and look for your contact. Once found,
make sure to check the box so the mast height is entered on the notepad as in
the picture below. OK THIS IS WHAT AM TAKING ABOUT,WHEN I TRY TO DO THIS IM NOT GETTING MAST HEIGHT IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER WHERE IT SHOULD BE AS ILLUSTRADED IN THE FOTO
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/wazooda/deadobs1.jpg
YOU SEE THAT IT SHOWS THE MAST HEIGHT,WELL I DONT HAVE THAT,WHEN I CLICK ON THE LITTLE BOX IN THE RECONITION MANUAL.
Get Range to Target
Place the horizontal line of your scope on the waterline of the target.
Next, click on “Range” in the Notepad. This will switch you to the Stadimeter
which you then place at the top of the highest mast of the ship.
Click the left mouse button when the line has been placed on the highest mast.
The range to target will then appear in the Notepad.

ok.....lets see.....
1) ID the ship
2) Lock the periscope on the ship and click on the tick box in the recognition manual. Mke sure the ship is still locked when you click the box.
3) the Ship name should apperar in the note pad along with mast height. (if the ship is still locked)
If not, I'm all out of ideas
