To be honest I cant remember how that worked with the US sub
:hmm:
Not gonna reinstall Seawolves to check but it may be you will need to put the cfg for the sub in the US roster folder

Never tried it but IIRC arent there US dials that need installing too ?

Hey Leeclose, what are the drippin paper and lowered antenna mods? I mean, I understand the general idea, but how exactly do they work?:88) :88)

When u install GWX there is a rotating antena at the front of your conning tower some people hate it some love it basically it lowers it but it still works the dripping paper gives you a water dripping down your paper effect quite cool effect.

@ puttputtnc

If your going to try GWX v1.02 I strongly advise you to follow these steps:

GWX Patch 1.02 must be installed over a copy of Silent Hunter III containing GWX (with or without existing hotfixes). As this is a requirement for the patch to work, the installer will not allow installation to any other location.

You can download the files you need from my sig or alternatively:

Visit http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/ (http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX/) and download from any of the available links under "HOTFIXES AND PATCHES".

Before installing:

- DISABLE all activated modifications if you use the "Jonesoft Generic Mod Enabler" (JSGME). You cannot use JSGME to install GWX Patch 1.02, but you can use JSGME to activate other modifications after GWX Patch 1.02 is installed.

- REMOVE any installed SH3 Commander files (if you use "SH3 Commander") by pressing the "Rollback SH3" button from within SH3 Commander.

- ENSURE your active careers are all safely docked in port!

It is important that you follow these steps as the installer will look for SH3 Commander and JSGME files and will halt if any are found. Likewise the installer will halt if it does not find certain key GWX files.

After installing:

GWX Patch 1.02 includes all individual GWX fixes released to date. You do not need to re-install any previous GWX patch or hotfix after patch 1.02. Indeed, this patch will delete from JSGME any previous patches or hotfixes that it finds.

Please note that the GWX Manual has been updated. Take the time to review the manual before posting questions. For your convenience, a printer friendly version of the GWX 1.02 Manual can be viewed on-line at http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX...NUAL_EN_PF.pdf (http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX...NUAL_EN_PF.pdf)

I WOULD NOT ADVISE INSTALLING ANY ADDITTIONAL MODS UNTIL YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR INSTALLATION...AND THEN ONLY THOSE MODS THAT CAN BE INSTALLED USING JSGME (which is included in the original download package).

You might want to consider adding 'MultiSH3' to cater for possible multiple installations of SH3 in the future.

Below is a shortened list of how to do it:
Delete any/all SH3 files from C\MyDocuments
Install a clean version of SH3 in C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3
Patch it to 1.4b
Copy the folder and paste it to whatever drive you want.
Rename the folder ‘GWX’.
Now install GWX and run it. (not forgetting the Dec23rd patch-installed via JSGME))
Now install GWX v1.02
Create a shortcut to the desktop..
Install the SH3Cmd 2.7 plus the SH3Cfg file
If your going to use multiple installs I’d suggest a separate install of SH3Cmdr for each plus an install of MultiSH3.

Good Hunting kaleun :arrgh!:
