Has there been any word yet on whether SH4 will support dual-core processors?

SH4 is not a multithreaded game. The devs have stated that you may see negligible performance improvements under certain situations on dual-core processors. Perhaps we'll have better luck with SHx being reengineered as a multithreaded title.

Question: Will SH4 be multithreaded?
Answer: There are separate threads for minor tasks in the game, so there will be SOME improvement in running a multiprocessor machine.
