i am on my first patrol and i save after i get to my patrol grid so i quit to go to work and then i get back on and i can't find my saved game i had to start the career over again
any ideas of want can be causing this and i'm running 1.04b and GWX 1.02

Did you check My Documents or whatever it is where SH3 stores settings and careers on your OS-drive (C:\ probably)?

Did you hit Save and Exit if you did heres a tip hit save on its own then hit exit cause sometimes SH3 seems to think Save and Exit means Exit ergo no save:damn:

i hit the save twice before i got to the grid and after just two days alway from Scapa Flow on 1/3 power, now i have to buy the upgrade and everything again

Seems a bit weird what mods you using with SH3?

i'm using GWX 1.02 it was happening to me in another carrer unitl i got past the 1st patrol

Did you uninstall C\Docs SH3 prior to installing GWX :arrgh!:

Thats a common Sh3 bug, happens to me all the time you need to go to your Sh3 folder in my documents search the career folder,open the career document with notepad and search the value that says finished=true and change it to false.

Dang!!! I can't wait to get home now and see if this is the same thing that happened to me. The thing is, I was so drunk that night that I thought I accidentally hit delete. In fact, I started a whole thread at SimHQ sharing my painfull lesson with others. So it might not have been the beer and Jim Beam after all.:D
