I currently do a virtual flying-around-the-world (again). I do 1.5 - 2 hour hops in a Piper Cheyenne IIXL, and for local sightseeing a Marchetti 260. I started towards London/England/Wick, then via Faroer Islands to Iceland, southern tip of Greenland, St. Johns, Eastcoast down to Washington area, and then a bit crisscrossing around. Currently in Little Rock, I prepare flightplan for leaving towards Clover, that is in the Pearland/Houston area.
If someone - for whatever his perfidious motives would be - wishes me to let a bolt fall onto Neal's head or spit in his pool during overflight, send me a mail before Saturday 2000 GMT, code word "Bird Attack"
:D

It is often refered to as 'the American dream'. See the prosperity that the free market gives, and weep.

While I'm not going to sit here and argue about the fact that in general Americans have the highest living standards in the world (as I agree we/they do), I think that this comment is a little insensitive to all those who sit homeless on America's streets because they have no job, and are unable to secure any kind of social welfare. I'm certainly not saying that those who choose not to work deserve to be propped up by the rest of us who do work, but there are those suffering through unfortunate conditions through no fault of their own, and it is important to remember them as well.

The first.
And I must reiterate: from up there, America looks like a place with awfully many roads and houses.
