What do you think of this bit of news?

From the article:

The 22-year-old former law student, whose own father has disowned him and called for his execution under Islamic law
That speaks volumes of the entire idiocy of it all.

Hmmm...

Abdel Kareem Nabil Suleiman was also found guilty of criticising his alma mater, Al-Azhar University. He was expelled from Al-Azhar last March after writing in his blog that the "professors and sheikhs at Al-Azhar who ... stand against anyone who thinks freely" would "end up in the dustbin of history".
The sentence, which was condemned by human rights groups, is widely seen as the latest attempt by the government to punish internet activism.

Hmmm....

Blogging about Muslim-Christian riots that took place in Alexandria in October 2005, Suleiman wrote in typically provocative fashion: "The Muslims have taken the mask off to show their true hateful face, and they have shown the world that they are at the top of their brutality, inhumanity, and thievery.
"Some may think that the actions of the Moslems does not represent Islam and has no relationship with the teachings of Islam that was brought by Mohamed fourteen centuries ago, but the truth is that their actions is not different from the Islamic teachings in its original form."

OH... no... not the peaceful non-hateful Muslims.. I... I...I refuse to believe that...
This is all a scam to soil the good natured ....... ah ... never mind ...

I just can not get enough sarcasm into text....

Yet another example of an opinion being stepped on and burnt. Pathetic, frankly.

Frankly, I wouldn't expect anything else from Egypt. Why blogger Nabil thought otherwise - or anyone here - is beyond me.

Next stop: Turkey (http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/015274.php).

The ultimate censorship. If you can't live, you can't speak, or write.

So much for FREEDOM OF SPEECH

But nowadays the freaking governement is petting immigrants a bit to much.
and they give the ugly look at our side like ''where are your manners''

I,m afraid that the muslims are getting a bit TOO MUCH influence in our way of living. interfering when we say something Insulting???? really are we the bad guys?
Some countries have to worrie how its going to be over 50 years. I think some countries then will have a conflict. I wont be surprised that in holland later on a large number is going to call for Independence.....

We live in spain and what from I noticed , people from over the sea (morroco) dont like to stay here, why not? because they dont get anything from the governemt then a Residential ID card and other paperwork to live here, you dont get Money, a house or whatsoever. you find urself a Job and work urself up...

they dont like that...they go north and going to mooch from the governement..
thought there are the ones that work. and the others...I think we all see that enough on the Telly

I just read, he also called the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak a dictator.

For insulting Mubarak he got 1 year which together with the 3 years for insulting Islam and inciting sedition makes a 4 years sentence. The court session took five minutes according to a BBC report (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6385849.stm).

How do you call a cowhouse (cow barn) in Egyptian?
"Moo barrack"

Nothing new there, every so many years this sort of story comes to light. If these people object to a western life style why do they live here?

Like I said in my post

they are putting a lot of influence in our way of living, telling us what we can and cant do.

on the Dutch TV , I saw a program about Westeren people converting towards the Islam, really that make me PUKE! especialy females , its just discusting to see a her with a Burka on.
really we are getting to soft...
we must really stand our feet and say ''Adapt or go back''
because when we move to their countries, we are not allowed to show anything that connects us with christian religion

so why are they allowed to show the muslim religion in ours
and how DARE the governement to demolish churches and in place of that they build a mosque! its outraged that we became so soft. that sooner or later we are going to have problems

now back ontopic, Its weird to see that they demand a execution? really, its sickining. harmless words on a blog and they want to see him dead? I have seen many homocides when the Male /father kills the wife for a lousy reason. I hope he gets free, and why does the governement interfeers with this egyptian blogger. On which side do they stand on?
