They are old boats. Perhaps someone will recognise them.

The one on the left looks like an old Soviet boat with that red writing on the conning tower.


Driving along a motorway in an evening in the fall of 1981 I spied over my left shoulder the unmistakable outline of an old sub.


I'd have said that was the old breakers yard at Portsmouth, Pounds I think it's called. If you have a look in Google Earth, you'll see the remains of an Oberon sitting there. Sad place. :cry:

Searching Plymouth for it. I found something else there.

I think it's a naval base.
