:o

Breaking news seems to indicate a Russian (Ehem...actually, it's Latvian...sorry Latvia!!) RORO ferry vessel off Morecambe which has anchored off Heysham in Lancs, in protest over lack of pay. The crew have barricaded themselves in and refuse to move it.

BBC News 24 is calling it a 'mutiny' but Ken Flemming of the International Transport Workers Union on board denies this.

There are plans afoot to 'arrest' the ship if no agreement is met.

No BBC news website link yet, I don't think they've caught up yet....

They're just making themselves target practice for an Akula that could be around.

Are they in british waters?

If so the british can board and sieze the vessel or escort it out to international waters.

Latvians would skin you Oberon.

Latvian vessel, though more than likely Russians on board.
