Sinking a waterlogged ship with flak guns

As a last resort - how do you sink a damaged ship with flak guns? I have read somewhere that you can do it. Can be useful when you have no torp/deck gun ammo left and you just want to sink that last limping small merchant.

get close dont miss and prepared to be there a long time and use a lot of flak ammo :D

Where's the best place to aim at?

im not sure tbh. i usually find aiming for the waterline quite good or i like to blow up the cargo thats loaded on the boat.

I already tried shooting the cargo, the engines, fuel tank. No good. Still have to try the waterline, though.

AFAIK you cant - well quickly any way

Now I suspect that can be changed but requires a bit more work than text editing

if you can, aim for the captain's eyes, this will blind him and there is a bug that causes him to scuttle his ship when he can no longer see. It's tricky but it can be done...
