Interrupted a patrol this afternoon to go out and run some errands (saved while surfaced and pursuing a contact). Rolled back Commander
Came back tonight, decided upon firing up Commander to enable "display hull integrity".
fired up GWX but it crashed mid load and booted me back to the desktop.

Now when I run Commander, it indicates "error: next to my flotilla, u-boat type and next to my rank/name. Cannot even create a new career as it indicates "error" next to my potential flotilla.

have been crying for the past 45 minutes...why me...WHY!!!...:cry::cry::cry:

I turn to you fine gentlemen to help fix this terrible wrong..

Have you tried disabling Hull integrity ?
Then trying again

Rollback commander first

Sadly, yes.

I haven't added any mods or tweaked any other setting...:cry:

Have you gone through the steps outlined in the SH3Cmdr FAQ which covers this exact problem?

Try those first then report back.

Q: When I open SH3 Commander I get a screen full of "Error!" labels and/or error messages saying that SH3 Commander cannot write to, or access, certain game files. What's wrong?
A: This usually occurs if:
- you attempt to run SH3 Commander on an unsupported operating system (see above);
Haven't changed anything, so it can't be that.
- you are not logged in under your Computer administrator account - ensure you have logged in as the Computer administrator (check under Control Panel|User Accounts);
Rebooted my computer as usual - default profile.
- you have a firewall, antivirus or other system monitoring software that intercepts attempts to modify files - turn off all such applications and test again. If all is then fine, switch each application back on individually, noting the one which is causing the conflict. You may be able to adjust settings to allow compatibility.
Turned them off - will this immediately be reflected in SH3 Commander or must I once again reboot?
- in an attempt to create a shortcut to SH3 Commander on your desktop, you actually moved the SH3Cmdr.exe file - in this case you will receive at some point a "file not found" error message which will include your desktop folder location.
haven't created or modified any files
- you have any game configuration files open - ensure that all game files are closed prior to running SH3 Commander.
Nope. Not that either...
