Welcome and nice campaign/website. I think with what is available now on the free market it must be difficult finding new Kapt'ns wanting to play stock game...

Yeah I used to play
With the 7th as U86 then transfered to the 2nd as U 106

Boat was destroyed leaving Cadiz :nope:

I used to use GW1.1 with stock campaign files apart from the WPL SCR

Couldnt play stock
Felt a bit sorry for my fellow Kpts as I could use the Kiel canal and they couldnt

Would have taken another boat then GWX came along and never had time to play while modding

Had a second career going in the 2nd as U 124 ( U 96 before transferring from the 7th ) too but had to kill that off

Have just spent the last hour or so reading through some of the threads over at WPL.
Is the any idea when you guys are going to start using GWX on your camaign game over at WPL?
I would be very intrested in joining you guys over there once i have finshed with my Testing duties and i have a bit of spare time. BBW has given you guys a good write up so when you guys start using GWX as a base i think i will give it a go.:up:

I can not answer your question. I am not privy to those dicisions regarding GWX. Personally. I have not been able to grasp how to load up the GWX thing and make it work. So. I do not have it. :oops:

If you have any dramas with getting GWX up and running just drop us a line as BBW said it is easy as pie:yep::up:

D/L GWX put all the bins and the exe in one folder.
Then follow these steps

Clean install of SH3.
Patch to 1.4
Install GWX
Install the Dec 23rd corections
Read the manual.
Then if you use it install SH3 Commander 2.7 and the extra Files for Commander to make it work on GWX.

Sure sounds simple enough. But......is there any way I can hook up with one of you on ventrlio or teamspeak or a chat program to guide this old dog through it.

Also: If I do install it. Can I still play the WPL Campaign I am in with a stock SH3? :-?

As theWPL uses its own SCR you will really need a dual instal

Stock you can use for WPL and GWX for yourself

There are a few guys that are always on teamspeak etc
One will be along in a minute
