It can be made to work, as described in this thread: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=9179&page=2&highlight=vista . We haven't specifically tested SB Pro PE for Vista compatibility. However, since we're adhering to Microsoft's standards for multi-user environments, we expect considerably less trouble than other developers who never wasted a single thought on security and access privileges.
The latest CodeMeter software, according to Wibu Systems, is Vista-certified. So I have to reject the comments in this thread that it doesn't work and can't made to work and whatnot. At the same time it should be obvious that a new Windows version that breaks with a lot of old customs and where apparently some hardware drivers are still not compliant will always have its share of teething problems.
