Which are your top?
Here's what I have right now:
Broken Sword
Broken Sword 2
Law and Order: Dead on the Money
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
CSI
CSI: Dark Motives
CSI: Miami
CSI: 3 Dimensions of Murder
Post Mortem
The X-Files (1996 interactive movie)
Black Dahlia
Silent Steel
I'm really sad to see interactive movies dying out, actually. I really enjoy them. How about you folks?
Adventure games have actually made a resurgence in the last couple of years with titles such as dreamfall etc.
They were considered dead for a good long while. Computer game stores actually have a whole shelf entitled "adventure" these days. You'll be surprised at the number of titles.
Can't say I've played any of the ones on your list. I played the classics such as Sam & Max hit the road, Full throttle, the Dig, Bioforge, Myst. I really enjoyed the Blade Runner game too. Haven't played any adventure games since... mainly because the good storyline elements that used to be exclusive to Adventure, have been absorbed into other genres.
Not strictly an adventure game, but with alot of such elements... Deus EX, possibly the best game I've ever played.
My all-time top is:
1. Broken Sword (Great Story, very beautifull graphics, Good voice acting) http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,84
2. Broken Sword 2 (Same as above + extra points for some very nice landscapes) http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,15
3. Runaway: Road to adventure 2 (Pretty much the only one today that even tries to fill the shoes of Broken Swords. And does it quite well too.) http://www.adventuregamers.com/gameinfo.php?id=167
4. It came from desert (Dont really know whatīs so good about this one, old but not far from the gold)
5. X-Files (/Dowly is a fan of X-Files) http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,360
Thatīs pretty much it, not too many to go to the list, I wouldīve wanted to fill the 3rd and 4th positions with Broken Sword 3 & 4, but some twit decided that they should use 3D graphics on the game, BIG MISTAKE! Waiting for the Runaway:RTA 3 atm. ;)
And for Kpt. Phillips: Thereīs fanmade Broken Sword in the works, called the Broken Sword 2.5: The return of the Templars http://www.brokensword25.com/

I've played BAT2 and BASS,both are top-notch games!
Recently picked up CSI:3DOM,a so-so game, way below the standard of BASS and BAT2. I've got Deus Ex 2:The Invisible War for the Xbox, and I love it! Played it through 2-3 times already!

I love that game so much. One of the few examples of interactive movies done right
You guys should check out Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophesy in the States(?)), but get the European version, as some very cool scenes have been edited away in the US version. Best damned adventure game I have ever played.
Currently clicking my way through Secret files of Tunguska, very cool too.

I though about the Fahrenheit, but IMO 3D graphics ruin the whole game. 2D looks much more appealing to my eye.

Don't miss Fahrenheit for it's graphics, dude. It's one great game, I'll tell ya. I was also considering checking out Tungushka but haven't gotten myself into it yet. Good you say? Hmm, time to get the demo then. Playing old Monkey Islands and Grim Fandango was sheer party time. Annoying sometimes, yes, for the their often totally weird puzzles but great fun anyway. I also quite liked Siberia games, simply because they are very pretty and sort of tranquil, thereby giving a welcome break from all the action and fighting and such.

Having read some reviews of the Fahrenheit, Iīve decided to give it a go. ;)
Ok, got the Fahrenheit from my local store today and have played it for few hours now. I must say Iīm lucky I got it! ;) The atmosphere is great! Reminds me of Silent Hills & the first Parasite Eve. (And thereīs some nudity/sex too :p)
Ok, have played it through the first time now and I must say, that this is one of the few games that actually make me feel different emotions. I think the Playstation Oneīs Metal Gear Solid has been the only game that has done that before Fahrenheit.
Only one question remains... HOW THE FECK CAN A DEAD MAN HAVE SEX!? Better yet, how the heck he couldīve seeded the woman!? Tough guy that Lucas.. ;)

Is a game that can be gone through in 1 to 2 days worth getting?
Yes, because it changes based on choises you make. You can have several endings, and several paths in the game itself.
Told you, Dowly!
Its one of the few games that makes you care about the caracters. Great stuff! (But get the uncensored Euro version)
But the best point and click ever is the Monkey Island-series!

Sam and Max
Zork Nemesis was the first scary horror point and click i tried many yrs ago. running on Windows95 and with very nice graphics as it was mostly all interaction my 4x cdrom was burning rubber  The game still looks good today, yet your need win98 or ME machine to play it.
This Fahrenheit i been read in this thread seems a game i need to get.
Fahrenheit isnt really a point&click game, I wouldnt even consider it as an adventure game. But still, one of the best games Iīve played!

Out of Order - my favorite, cutest little RPG! (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=100865)
The puzzles in this one are just awesome, especially the "You Force Heaven To Be Empty" one.
It's been a while since I played a point-and-click, the last ones being Police Quest (ancient) and a game I don't remember the name of where a girl looks through a key hole and sees a guy get stabbed, and then evacuates her room through a hidden passage behind a bookshelf... I got stuck at the portion with the bees and gave the thing up.
Fahrenheit isnt really a point&click game, I wouldnt even consider it as an adventure game. But still, one of the best games Iīve played!
True, put pretty close, as you have to walk around and find things to interact with.
Does anybody know if it made any money? I really hope this developer makes more games.
