During my travels across England and Wales, i found myself in a small village in Wales, right before i entered the Lake District, i forget the name of it but its claim to fame is that there are more book stores then people.

So i bought this book called Servants of Evil and it was written by Bob Carruthers and Simon Trew. The book is a collection of interviews of former German Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors. They have two sections on U-Boats. In those sections the former sailors and officers tell how life was like on U-boats. Its very interesting to read about, how the trainning was, how only the best and healthest sailors could be assigned to u-boats. It also tells how they excaped DDs and planes. Im still reading it. The other sections are about life in the German Army and the Luftwaffe. There are some pictures of crewmen being awarded medals and u-boats being prepared to ship out, aver interesting book. As i was going through the bookstores i noticed that there were tons of literture on the German Military during world war two.

If anyone knows where i am talking about or lives near the village please post it or send me a PM, thanks
