French Socialist candidate Segonlene Royal's proposal to re-educate criminals using the military and "citizen's juries"-

"She also said that randomly selected citizens' juries would watch over government policy and that juvenile delinquents could be placed in educational camps run by the military."   from the International Herald Tribune, 11 Feb 2007.

Getting a chance to record a movie you've wanted to see for a long time, and realizing once you sit down to watch it...you recorded the wrong channel.

That stinks.

How about the revelations that Libby, Rove & Fleischer, at the direction of Cheney, compromised a covert CIA officer and her brass plate company, Brewster-Jennings to cover up their lies in the run-up to their filthy oil war? Since Brewster-Jennings had spent the previous 15 years tracking rogue states & terrorist groups efforts to obtain WMDs, especially Iran, such information might be handy now that Bush is rattling sabres and preparing to attack Iran. Instead, any assets we may have had in Iran are long gone so we have no reliable intel there. So now the Bush Crime family will attack Iran, probably lose at least one aircraft carrier and trap our troops in Iraq leaving them to fight their way to Kurdistan. But hey, we know more than we ever cared to about a dead bimbo and an astronaut in a diaper with poor taste in men.

I do know one thing though, oil companies and Bush's Saudi masters will make lots more money when oil reaches $1-200/barrel.
