Will we be able to go to and from these bases for training missions/tutorials, re-fits, new ships and for their intial shake-downs before entering active duty?
It would nice to see The San Francisco Bay and pas under the Golden Gate, head north past Alcatraz and into the Napa County/Vallejo delta area. Everytime I fly over that area, I zone out and stare at the history quietly deteriorating below me.
It was would stimulating, awe-inspiring and emotional at the least to sail into Pearl and see the wreckage still strewn about the bay, it would be nice to see the progressive clean up of the bay over numerous trips to Pearl.
From all my readings, it seems both these places struck the Skippers and crew of US subs deeply...it would add an enormous amount of immersion for me.
