VCR ALERT: Torpedo Run on TCM Feb 11th

For those of you who get Turner Classic Movies (TCM), the 1958 film, Torpedo Run starring Glenn Ford and Ernest Borgnine, will be shown Sunday, Feb 11th at 11:30am EST.

TCM plays some really good movies (I'm a sucker for good classics). This is a film I've wanted to see for some time, but haven't got around to it for one reason or another. Appreciate the heads-up!

I am so ready for this game. In the movie the executive was giving the bearings and AOB so I guess I wont feel that bad if I have them do that for me in SH4 as well. :D

Unbelievable. I recorded the wrong channel and thus missed it yet again. I think it may be easier to buy the DVD at this stage. :)

While scouring TCM's listings to see if Torpedo Run would be aired again anytime soon, I discovered another good sub classic will air this month...Destination Tokyo!

So those that get TCM, just a heads-up that Destination Tokyo will air Monday, 26th Feb at 11:45am EST. Set those recorders (on the correct channel). :up:

In my town library they have that movie u can check out for 7 days only tho its also in DVD.

I watched it today. I've seen it before but I paid particular attention in light of the upcoming SH4. Not a bad film, but not great, either. More Hollywood than reality here, but a pleasant enough time waster....
