As disgusting as this father may have behaved, he should be judged and, if convicted, the State is responsable for his well being during his prison term.
He should be judged only once, not again by his future inmates.
However, the reality is probably more like August predicts.

I've read that even in prison, amongst the rapists, murderers and conmen, there is a code of decency which dictates noone should attack a little child. those who do and are left in prison....:dead:
