abandon ship

I know the dev team didnt give an answer to this but what do you think will happen if you choose to abandon ship? do you think you have any chance of being picked up by allies? I remember in red baron 2 it was even possible to get captured and escape and return to your unit occasionally.

well what i means is if we do that what do you think will happen will that be the end our career?

Oh, I see. Well if it were an option I'm sure it would simply bring up screen and as you suggest, likely end your current career.
