Will this link do?

Looks like the work of the ALF or someone like them, or alternatively, someone who want the police to think it's them.

It is a bit of a worry if this continues to happen around the London area. But so far no one has been seriously injured thankfully. Not sure if that is down to luck or the intent of the criminal to only spread fear rather than kill or maim.

Another one:
London: Parcel bomb explodes at licensing agency
By ASSOCIATED PRESS

A parcel bomb exploded and injured a woman at a British driver and vehicle licensing agency Wednesday morning, South Wales police said.

The incident at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority in Swansea was the third incident this week in Britain in which a parcel bomb injured workers in offices.

I think you can rule out the ALF for one good reason, what have they got against the DVLA? Answer not a thing.

As for the bombings very little info to go on yet.

Indeed, apparently it's the seventh bomb in recent weeks:

1 Forensic Science Service, Chelmsley Wood - 18 Jan 2007
2 Orchid Cellmark, Abingdon, Oxon - 18 Jan 2007
3 LGC Forensics, Culham, nr Abingdon - 18 Jan 2007
4 Private house, Folkestone, Kent - 3 Feb 2007
5 Capita, London - 5 Feb 2007
6 Vantis, Wokingham, Berks - 6 Feb 2007
7 DVLA, Swansea - 7 Feb 2007

(Source - BBC News)

Now, word is that Capita deal with the Congestion charges in London, which links them a bit with the DVLA...the police say there's a link between the Vantis and the Folkestone bombs...

Orchid Cellmark (http://www.orchidcellmark.com/) deal with Forensics and paternity tests, which links them with the first and third bombings...

But Capita, and Vantis are admin/finance companies....aside from the Congestion charge link...how does that link them with the DVLA? And what links them to Orchid Cellmark and the forensics...

Something doesn't ring right about this, it's like there's almost a link there...but it's buried so deep that only the police will be able to see it...

Or alternatively, it could just be a nutjob sending random bombs, it wouldn't be the first time...but, it's the first time such a concentrated number have been sent in such a short space of time.... :hmm:

I wish!

In all honesty I work in collections and it's the guys on the deliveries that are in the real danger.

In the days of the IRA we had 3 bomb alerts which each time shut our office for a number of hours until the bomb disposal boys said they were safe. Two turned out to be incontinance alarms, the other a viabrator - Jeez the things people send in the post eh?
