just saw this in the Dev's anwsers part of the Ubi! forum

Q: schwarze_Katze: Will Midway Island be available for a refueling stop without ending a patrol (historically accurate)?
A: Yes, and you are well advised to use it.

It very likely will, if it is to work like in Silent Hunter III, which has voice recordings of your officers saying things like "Re-supply in progress", "Re-supply interrupted", and "Re-supply completed".

It's getting better and better! Don't remember where I read it but it said that one feature of SH4 will be that you can ring out "General Quarters". That's awesome!:up:

They should add a tag on a gas station "Terrorist-Free Gas":rotfl:

Yes, 'General Quarters' is the US Navy term for 'Battle Station' (I believe;)).

Dad would have loved it! He was on the Patrick Henry. And very lucky, as he received his Honorable Discharge two weeks before he was top go out on the Thresher.

I hope there is a refueling base on Australia's northen coast (can't remember the exact location but it is up near Darwin.)

Mind you, even if there isn't I guess it is the sort of thing that should be easy enough to mod in.

Not that I should be knocking Bledsoe... He did grow up here, I went to the same High School (though several years later)... and have an autographed Rookie card.. Being the only star athelete I've met... His mother used to teach Middle School here too.

Walla Walla, Wa.. Famous for its Funny name, Onions, Drew Bledsoe and Adam West (TV's Batman)... oh and now Wine.... lots and lots of Wine...

Haha, i was confused and had to check out Walla Walla, and was surprised it was in Washington. Walla Walla Wa automatically says Western Australia to me... Walla Walla is such an Australian name for a town.

Its a Native American Name, meaning Land of Many Waters (if I recall correctly. )

i think all neraby subs where put out in a scouting line to try and find the fleets as there was no ultra's to help find them, only to show that thay where coming.
