I got through the Panama Canal today, and by jove, it was easy!
playing GWX, august 1942 (yeah, happytimes over, the merchants have guns know:damn: )
playing 0% realism, had gone from St. Nazaire to Penang, and from there to the coast of Australia, and then went on to the edge of the map, when I passed it I showed up on the other side!:D
so I took a new course towards Kap Horn, then when I noticed how long that would take, I decided to go to Panama and try something stupid: to go through the canal.
I got there (only one pic, sorry), no guns at shore, no patrol ships at the pacific shore, and I got through almost the entire way surfaced (the canal was to no suprise very shallow).
Towards the end I dived to periscope depth and 1 kts. to avoid the ships that patroled the port right by one of the entries/exits of the canal. I took the other passage however, and no ships patroling there.....

I know it doesn't say much, but that's the only pic I took in the canal.....:nope:
