Doesn't the sonarman call out wasserbomben in SH III? I just bought the game a few days ago and it's great. I'd love to put in the Das Boot sound mods that are for SH II in this game... is there one available?

Atleast for me the sonarman always says wasserbomben when depthcharged.
But maybe that happens because i use GWX...

Go to Uboot Real Simulation and in the download section look out for "Sailor Steve's sound pack for 1.4b" (or something close to that iirc).

i have GWX and he never says it for me! it would be so handy though because i could work my magic then!

hmmm thats strange. he said it last week i think and now I have to listen carefully for the screws which is kinda difficult online with jim talking in your ear!

I converted as many as I could make fit into the SH3 format. Be sure to read the readme; I cut a couple of corners then that I wouldn't do now.

Darn, how do I locate those files? there are so many files on that site and they don't seem to have a search engine??

My guy always announces the wasserbomben...but they have to be relatively close to the sub. I sometimes can hear the depth charges going off but at a distance...he ignores those. If the escorts have spotted or pinged me and go on runs at me...he lets me know when they are drop'n bombs.

Be sure and read the readme carefully, as I only did one set and not all nine; also there are some alternate files.

And Seth, I'm sorry I didn't reply to your question back when, but Corsair's right: sound files work with just about anything.
