Hi everyone! just a quick question. I just recently was able to download the Music to my SH3 gramaphone and its great. However not every download explains how and where to install these mods, for example, Id like to download the Crew faces to the Characters from DAS Boote mod, WHere the heck do I drop it once i got it down loaded? Thanks for your help, Learning as I go but really love the mod possibilities.

Hello and welcome to SubSim:up:

I would suggest you get mods that are JSGME-ready as that way you don't need to fiddle with the files and the folder paths. I am not totally sure about the path you need to use for your mod but if I remember correctly it should be: C\Program Files\Ubisoft\SH3\Data\menu\Data\ofaces Make sure you either use JSGME (you need to create the folder structure if there isn't there) or make a backup first.

Download the Mod enabler JSGME from the JonesSoft web page; follow the instructions.
better yet, install GWX and the mod enabler is included and setup for you

Ok , Ive got GWX installed off game shadow. What do you guys suggest I install next??? :D So much to choose from so I am open for suggestions.
PS tried a single player game, Is italways dark underwater in GWX?

So you don't get confused, these 2 are external utility programs and not mods...

If you install SH3Cmd make sure you also add the extra Cfg files for GWX. You can find them in the link in my signature. For more information read the GWX manual it explains everything you need to know.

Yeah....turn it up to '20' and that's as near as you'll get to the original :up:
