What i hope to see in silent hunter 4 is a crew.
That is a submarine with 2 human players in multiplayer
1. Captain controls commmand functions + damage control + Crew Fatigue
2. XO (torp officer) controls actual torpedo fire+ loading+ engine room
Captain cannot fire torpedo, it gives the order to the human torpedo officer who fires it
Captain gives the order to go flank but sub will only do so when the
(XO) sets the sub to flank from his console
Engineer and torpedo officer (XO) report to captain, sub damage areas, so he can set crew to repair those areas. This allows for voice or voip in game, in sub.
This sets up levels of Chain of Command and teamwork in the sub.
Both have important parts to play and are interlinked for success and adds a new level to the game to make it more realistic and dynamic :D :up:
