The simple way is to rename your GWX version to the stock version. That way SH3Cmdr will pick up the GWX version.

Or....

In the SH3Cmdr Readme there is reference to a l: switch which will allow to 'point' SH3Cmdr to a different installation of SH3.

If I can find the post where my l: switch settings are it might give you a helping hand.

Target
"C:\Program Files\SH3 Commander - GW\SH3Cmdr.exe" /l:"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent HunterIII - GW"

That needs to be adapted for your install path. Enter this into the Target box by choosing properties by right-clicking on the SH3Cmdr shortcut.

Do not use Cmdr with MP. Too many file changes. MP's must have exaclty the same files.

You can enable all the mods that came 'packaged' with GWX. BUT the first one that you need is the Dec 23rd Fix (click on my sig). This must be enabled before anyother mod via JSGME (installed in the program file of GWX).

Try the standard GWX install + Dec 23rd fix first. Then try the others when you know what you want.

Most of this is contained in the GWX Manual (click Sig).
