I just sealed the deal. Im moving from Delaware to Las Vegas, a 4 day drive of around 2,500 miles. Now all we need to do is figure out how to beat all the casinos, and we'll be crusing around Lake Mead in our own Seawolf class before you know it.

Wish me luck!

Good luck and have a safe trip ... check your car's fluid levels often

Never play the sucker bets, play the slots that are in full view of other
guest (they hit more often) and always back-up your bets at the crap table.

I had to walk out of Vegas one time and I said I would never be back ...
That was 1985 ...

Good luck! Sounds like a huge change. I don't think I could live in the desert.

It's only a two day drive anyway. I drove 1,400 miles from NY to MS in one sitting. It took 22 hours or so. ;)

Two years ago, a visiting American student remarked on the fact that you could watch the sun come up on the east coast, drive to the west coast and watch the sunset, all in one day. So the next day we ditched classes, filled up the car with food, drinks, & music, and off we went. Sunrise at 6am in Malahide, and in Galway by dinnertime. Amazing trip
(She was from Pennsylvania, it takes what, three days to drive across it? :P)

Good luck
My daughter and her family live there, well they just moved from Vegas to Henderson, a 5-minute drive. Her husband works for a company that develops videos games for the casinos. One time he took me into one casino to show me one of the machines that they did, looking at it I asked f he was going to play it. He said no way! Just coming into the casino they had already ID him and were watching him, and if he played on one of the machines his company made he would be breaking the law and worst yet he would have to contend with “the casino people” which are a lot more dangerous than the law.
